He's been decent so far. There have been a couple of hard hit fly balls but other than that he's shown the ability to get out of trouble.
Stuff-wise I'd say at his best he'll be no better than a 4/5 starter in the bigs.
Can we start hitting Miguel Batista already? This lineup looks like it's a asleep!

I gotta say I'm impressed right now. He works fast. His stuff isn't overpowering but he has enough movement on his pitches to do well. This bodes well for our future.
He just finished up his 7th inning of play retiring the last 8. Give the kid some props.

Don't expect these types of outings all the time. He's a flyball pitcher who doesn't have a legitimate strike out pitch and walks alot of guys. He's a 5th starter.
