The dreaded Angels. If they leave New York with only a split, everybody should be happy.

Ponson and rasner are both scheduled to pitch so yea, a split would be excellent.

Pettite was throwing fastballs as straight as an arrow

Pudge scores his first run as a Yankee but it doesn't count do to the moron that is umpiring behind the plate. Frustrating...

It's Retro Night at Yankee Stadium....Garrett Anderson and Chone Figgins owning us AGAIN. :noway: :noway: :noway:

I absolutely despise the Angels. They are closest team to Boston in my hate column.

it alwasy seems to be that way with those two... I say trade for those two guys, then just bench them.. At least they won't be killing us.. LOL.. we got spanked tonight.. It seems like we are just not ready to compete on a high level consistently.. I hope we can win the next 3 games. send a message to the angels.... I also hate that team..

What a crushing loss. All the good feelings from the winning streak are long gone.

I'd be shocked if the Angels don't win the WS this year. Clearly the best team in baseball.

They'll lie down for Boston in the postseason like they always do...

The Angels are our daddies... that is all their is to it. Tip our caps and move on...

That one hurt. It's like Mo's a different guy in non-save situations.

It's a small sample size. He's still having a terrific year.

The least of our problems is Mo.

I really think a lineup change is in order. Something drastic. What I would like to see but probably would never happen is:
LF Damon
RF Nady
3B Arod
DH Abreu
C Pudge
2B Cano
SS Jeter
1B Giambi/Sexson
CF Melky

A lineup that I think has a shot at happening that I wouldn't mind seeing is:
SS Jeter
LF Damon
DH Abreu
3B Arod
2B Cano
RF Nady
1B Giambi
C Pudge
CF Melky

Sidenote: anyone else find it amusing that when Betemit(I think it was him) was on first and Pudge was at the plate, they were talking about how Pudge is a lot like Jeter in these situations in how he hits. Then Pudge promptly hit into a GIDP. -Jitpal

By far of course. You do see the tendency at least, don't you?

Too small of a sample size. It's only been about 10 innings. You can't take anything from it.

If Girardi takes anything from Mo's "troubles" in tie games, he's an idiot. Mo should pitch every tie game in the 9th at home. Without question. He's our best reliever, and a small sample size won't convince me otherwise.

Far from suggesting anything. Just telling what I'm seeing.
