Wiretap is showing we are pursing Randy Johnson. Old or not, I actually like this idea, but the money will need to be right. I normally don't like to have a older group of starters, but Randy will get a pass from me, and we can benefit from his services if we use him correctly.

I agree,but Ive heard he really doesnt want to be in Oakland,and had said SF would be a better fit for him,so if thats the case I dont want him,and would like to see us go after John Smoltz to be the vet leader were looking for to help the young pitchers we have.
