LAA @ Seattle

We won a baseball game!

Vargas is owning lately, and props to Cust for not being a complete and utter waste of space. And to Smoak, who even makes going 1/4 look good with another RBI double.

Also have to give credit to League. As rough as a week as he had, he appears to have kept himself together and is making adjusts to his pitch selection. The guy has the best stuff out of anyone in our bullpen...it's in everyone's best interest for him to keep closing.

1-1, bot 6

Kendrick with a HR off Fister in the 3rd, Luis Rodriguez with a double/eventually scores on a Giminez sac fly in the 5th.

Peguero got Tori Hunter'd in the 7th. Not sure it would have gone over the fence, but it was an easy double.

Mariners win 2-1!!

Bottom 9, 2 outs, Cust on 3rd, Peguero blasts a can of corn to center, and Tori Hunter loses it in the sun and it falls harmlessly to the grass. Saunders battled the sun ALL day today and almost made an error or two himself.

Something goes our way!

This didn't take into account Cust's check-swing infield hit to lead off the inning. Halos had the Cust shift on and he couldn't have rolled that ball down the line any better. Not exactly a Disney-inspired walk-off win, but I'll take it.

It's about time something like this happens in OUR favor! WOOOO! I'll take it. Huge win. Fister was dominant.

Damn right...same thing that happened to us in Boston about a month ago. I can't believe we just took down both Haren and Weaver.
