As of right now, Zunino's SLG% is 3rd amongst all catchers with more than 100 PA. He doesn't get on base as much as one might like, but that power and the defense behind the plate make a pretty nifty combo for a player who's not supposed to be ready yet.

For one inning or two. Any more than that, and I get a little tired of him.

I wish we could get David Price out of this game but he's rolling at 88 pitches so far. We might have both SP get a CG tonight.

If Iwakuma is out now, then put up five or six runs here.

It's easy to see why Mariano Rivera was so beloved.

Hey guys. Remember when I complained in the offseason about signing an overaged closer to that kind of money?

**** you Rodney. You suck. Im tired of your high wire act.

Just damn. How frustrating and heartbreaking. We all didn't trust Rodney. And this was why.

Why oh why did Iwakuma come out? So what if it's only his 3rd game back. Rodney's awful.

The damn pitch-count thing. 97 pitches, and they pull him.

A good example of why I hate it when managers are held hostage by pitch counts. The guy was rolling and it should be his game in the 9th inning. If he's struggling then, then you can pull him, but at least give him that chance. Rodney is bordering on totally unreliable even on a day when your starter isn't completely dominating.

Lloyd McClendon sucks. Why is it so hard to find a decent manager?

You leave your starter in. Complete bull.

It's only his 3rd game back and he's had the history of shoulder issues. Iwakuma was getting hit a bit in the 8th before finishing it off. But Price is out there. And he'll probably finish this sucker off for the Rays because that's fun.

Oh, you **** umpires. That's a walk.

What can you say? Our closer didn't get the job done. It's not McClendon's fault. It just might be one of those heartbreaking losses, They happen in a long season.

I say I want more replay. I want to replay every piece of **** call an umpire makes. Balls. Strikes. Everything. Rub their face in every blown call that costs a team a game like a pet owner telling its dog "look at what you did" when the damn dog craps on the carpet. MLB apparently can't fire anybody, or hire anyone who's capable of doing the job correctly, so try something else.

It does seem we've had an inordinate amount of home plate umps who've been strike-zone challenged this year. It really seems that way.

On a positive note...awesome performance by Iwakuma.
