Why does this organization have such a hard-on for the guy?

We really recalled him and WAIVED Wells? Are you serious? Olivo adds NOTHING to the club. I'm sure its his "veteran presence" that keeps the guy around.

Wells wasn't waived...he was just sent down to AAA.

I'm not so much mad about Olivo coming up, as it was inevitable, but that Wells lost his roster spot over a guy like Figgins who has no spot on this team anymore.

Oh. My bad. I know that the wiretap on my tv earlier today said that Wells got waived. That's what got me.

Either way, Olivo is the worst catcher in baseball. I'd take Mike Piazza at his age right now over Olivo.

Yeah, Figgins still being here is idiotic. Don't understand any of it.

Do reporters ever ask Wedge simple questions like "Why did you think playing Olivo today was a good idea?" I'd love it.
