I won't judge the Mariners offense too much against the A's. I mean, they had the 2nd best ERA in baseball last year. Except for the fact that Morse is a monster. We all know that.

Excited for the game today though! Young gun gets his turn!

Today's lineup is less than inspiring. One of my biggest concerns about Wedge as a manager is his inability to know what to do with a veteran player. Four games in, and Ibanez has started in half of the games.

My biggest concern about Wedge is that he sucks. Wish we had someone else.

Maurer struggled a bit in the first, but since then, he's been really solid.

Ibanez? Andino? :-?

Morse is a GOD!

I wonder if Sweezo will come around after the 40th HR. :P

EDIT: God damn Maurer.

i know he's only played a whopping two games, but ibanez looks a lot like griffey did that last year. everything about him is just... slow.

i've seen about enough of andino.

liking what i've seen from morse and guti.

our fears about the rotation post-iwakuma were realized.

It just doesn't make sense to have both Ibanez and Bay on this roster. I'd much rather have Casper Wells hanging around over Ibanez. Raul looks old.

Thought the same thing when I watched the box score but he looked alright when I watched the replay. He'd given up three runs entering the 6th inning, got a quick out, and then gave up two doubles followed by a home run. He'll learn.

From the "help is on the way" file: Mike Zunino had a huge HR and a triple in his AAA debut. Hultzen's given up one run over 6 innings with a 7:2 K/BB ratio. If Smoak or Montero struggle I would not be shocked to see Zunino taking a decent amount of their playing time.
