yeah because a sub 3 era is so horrible

Not one his better starts, technically. I'm listening on the radio today because you know, WORK, so it's hard to tell if Felix was getting hit hard or not. But the lack of strikeouts was concerning. He's not had a start like this in a long time.

Goldsmith said Felix hadn't had a game without a strikeout that went over 5 innings since '08.

If this goes extra innings to start a doubleheader with Ramirez in the late game? Things could get real interesting.

Yoervis Medina is doing everything he can to make sure that doesn't happen. What a hero.

Extra innings in the first half of a doubleheader. This has the potential to get ugly really quick.

Justin Smoak has been pretty ridiculous late in games this season. Lots of production.

Huh. That's a game I would have expected us to find a way to lose. Now either way we win the series and leave Oakland above .500. Now the schedule gets a bit easier and we maybe get some pitchers back. Be interesting to see what happens if we need a closer tonight.

Well I missed most of what went on today, but was aware of what happened. Hallelujah! We win an extra inning game to take the series before the second game even begins. Win or lose this game here in the last few innings, great job M's.

Missed the M's game due to being at the Sounders game, which OK because not a whole lot happen. Disappointed the sweep didn't happen, but I'm proud of the team for doing so well on this road trip. Now let's see some wins at home for the faithful. KC is certainly beatable and we've got Iwakuma tomorrow night.
