I don't hate the team or the players or the coaches at all. I just hate the way they play defense.

Nice try labeling me a hater. lol

And no one is your friend here on the internet. lol

Mavs are now slotted in 6th & 5th and I think we might see teams target the Kings down the stretch:

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2023-nba-predictions/

https://www.basketball-reference.com/friv/playoff_prob.html

Blazers @ Hawks (-6.5)
Suns @ Bulls (+ 4.5)
Jazz @ Thunder (+1.5)
Grizz @ Nuggets (-5.5)
Pelicans @ Warriors (-4.5)
Clippers @ Kings (-6.5)
Wolves @ Lakers (-1.5)

Pretty big night of H2H in the West with Clippers & Warriors on B2Bs

27-6 run by the Nuggets to open the 4th is scary...
Clippers continue to sink.
some separation is forming between 8 and 9 seed, Jazz and Pelicans are on a downward trend, Lakers are injured, I still think Clippers will figure it out soon.

Ja suspended by team for 2 games and Clarke is done for the year. That 2 seed is up for grabs for some teams.

And Brooks beat Luka to the tech suspension, if Clippers can't win on Sunday, they aren't winning ever again

Mavs expectedly find themselves in the middle of a mess, same as 19-20 and 20-21 seasons.
Suns have opened a healthy lead and looking like a top 4 seed.
Dubs, Mavs, Wolves and Clippers will battle for seeds 4-8 with LAL lurking and NOP if Zion is back.

Another thing to watch out west is the Grizz, who lost Clarke, and Ja will miss few games, they can find themselves as 4th seed or even lower if they don't get their **** together.

538 has Mavs as 6th seed vs 3rd seed Suns
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2023-nba-predictions/

BBR also has Mavs as 6th seed vs 3rd Kings

I suspect Ja is about to get slapped with that Gil Arenas 50 game suspension. Grizz have some gritty players to still compete, so it will be interesting.

Good thing for Mavs is that the 9-13 teams are beating each other up. Bad thing is we’re only 2 games ahead of that mess.

We also have 3 more games against the Grizz. So hopefully we can take care of business.

Not a huge night of games that can help:

76ers @ Wolves (-2.5)
Warriors @ Thunder (+3.5)
Grizz @ Lakers (-1.5)

What playoff aren't we tank? We trade to tank didn't we? If we qualify for playoff we should play as a team were everyone get to score on the game and as a team play defense. Having two All-star players is a big problem because the both like to shoot a lot they should be pass first players and shooting the ball most be view as a last option. That's why players like Nilikina,Bulock and Hardaway didn't get in playing offence tempo they didn't have enough good looks at the básquet on the games and at the ends of game they didn't hit their shots . We need more scoring and move more the ball and change the tempo Luka need to trust more his team mates and stop playing the ball hero game!

I would prefer Kings. Grizz have quite a depth, i somehow wouldn't feel comfortable playing them in the 1st round.

Depends on Ja status, w/o Ja and Clarke they don't have good depth, but choosing opponents is a privilege for those who win in RS, Mavs aren't one of those teams.
