Exum with the poster! The one positive I have from this game. He needs more minutes, period.

Glad I missed this game. From the comments here I might have thrown the remote at the screen.

The 2 blow out wins got into their heads, they still had a ton to prove after last year.
That's the 2nd game they play like entitled children, they need a slap in the face, I hope Grant rips into them in the locker room.
Kidd, for the live of God, your team has no clue how to defend zone, please, this is embarassing.

On the very tiny positive side: Minutes for Holmes and Omax - Omax is looking physically like exactly what we desperately need, proper size for the position and the frame to go along with it. He looked taller out there than Holmes and Ingram, etc.

I agree. They looked like they thought they were gonna waltz in and win. Kidd needs to go into MIL Coach Kidd mode and make these guys run suicides (do they still call it that these days?) all freaking day. Make Luka run it double so he can sweat out whatever had him look drunk all game.

We all expected the Pels to put up a fight, but they flat out embarrassed us. The constant doubles on Ky and Luka wrecked our offense. Props to the Pels on their gameplan.

We got some work to do. Any good team would’ve made an opponent pay for doubling that often. Could use a third attacker on the floor in situations like that. Effort on defense and 50/50 balls was awful.

Off to DC. We have to bounce back against the Wiz.

Lmao at Kidd trashing the floors in post game. The NBA has to ditch them or this will be my last yr buying league pass.

Not aware of what he said but the only thing that's more brutal to watch than this Mavs performance are these eye cancers they call courts.

It was this.

All game.

By multiple players.

I guess 82 games is just too much and you'll see some really really bad looking duds from time to time.

Luka also mentioned the floor.
There's the a saying in Arabic that goes "Those who can't dance, will blame it on the floor"...
Just an embarrassing game by everyone, I want to see them take accountability and fix this mess against their nemesis on the road.

Disgreaceful game, hoping this lights afire in them and they take the game against the Devil's City seriously tonight

Embarassing game but happens...Just in those situations i would like to see a coach who change rotations/game plan or whatever. Nothing. Zero.
Probably we would have lost anyway because with Luka and Irving play bad we can't W against no one but it's not about W or L.

Our bigs situation is very worrying as we knew before the start of the season, Lively has up and down (he is a rookie) , Powell is almost useless and Holmes didn't have the Kidd trust so he plays only garbage time.

Green and Hardy look like 2 years from being NBA impact players right now.
Curry was and still a mysterious sign with Hardy and THJ on the roster.

Exum can play and he is solid but still a role player.

Without Luka or Kyrie god mode we can't win. Ouch.

Exum can get to the rack easily to either finish or create an easy bucket. The more time he gets the more he looks better than Hardy or Green .
Last night was so evident the Mavs needed a 3rd ball handler who could create his own shot with the doubling on Luka and Kyrie. Green ,DJJ and GWms are dependant on the assisted basket for their pts .

Every time Luka is in town here, he goes to the casino and has a chill night. If he drinks at all, it’s never been enough for me to notice, so it’s not excessive. He seems to like it lowkey here. Hahaha. He’s probably the NBA player we see the most here though, he’s guaranteed to come when in town.

He did look like someone who partied too much, he has off games, but this game was something else.

It’s possible, I obviously don’t know what he does for an entire night, but there isn’t like heavy clubbing going on in the middle of week, despite everything staying open later than most places. He could have easily gotten trashed at a dive bar that stayed open till 8 am or something.
