Spectacular defense from DJJ on Ant so far. And too bad Kidd benched Exum for THJ who was horrible like Grant so far.

I'm so glad that Kidd is going with a 2/7 THJ who is -12, meanwhile Exum on the bench 3/3 +19.

Every single time Exum has sat, Wolves have FEASTED.

Grant has to watch the drive against Kat. He’s losing the angle because he’s half a step too far forward.

Exum is incredible. Needs 20 minutes in the 2nd half

Not feeling good Minn closed the gap .Kidd over coached ...Exums defense was more the difference than the other guys

thoughts so far:

Luka is going to have to be more of a facilitator and let kyrie focus on scoring if this is gonna work long term. his ability to get a teammate a great shot is his biggest asset to this team. if he's scoring like this when kyrie comes back it becomes a net negative because u have a great scorer in Kyrie watching. james harden made the same transition in Brooklyn and they were a couple injuries away from winning it all that year.

love exum pace. if kyrie was here we probably get a little more pace when luka kinda slows it down a little too much at times.

lively is still too young and inexperience...we need to take serious adding a veteran center...and lively nor is grant williams the answer when they double luka. the middle is wide open. if we can add a PF that can take advantage of that at a higher clip - this team will be championship level.

This is not a criticism of Lively - I'm just seeing his body position/ strength and I can already tell he's not ready and having that vet there is very important. Holmes is okay but i would like to get better.

Disagree with this ,Im seeing Lively ball against the top defense and the leading Defensive Player of the Yr guy in Gobert

This game is a good example why Kyrie is badly needed. No one can do anything on offense other than Luka and Kidd doesn't trust Exum apparently.

It's obvious the team misses Kai and that they need more size...Grant can't Play the PF against this big teams

he actually does a decent job on defense for his size. its really that he doesnt give you much offensively if hes not hitting those wide open 3s. grant is a good player but imagine a better starter there at the 4 that can punish the defense (not just shooting) but getting to the basket and just having more offensive skill and confidence off those luka doubles.

Cause he can't finish in the paint because the bigger man is guarding him, that's also the reason he gets outrebounded...he does ok on D but a bigger boddy would definetely help
