Oh, he did. There was contact on Joe's foot.

If you re-watch the player later, look for the feet.

The only argument would be if Joe kicked out... to me it looked like he didn't.

To me... it was a foul. But the NBA has been weird lately with "incidental contact".

Its just all soft. Some of this contact is so minimal

Unless you're trying to convince me that Hardy and Powell are best Mavs defensive players according to DRTG, i'm not going to take it seriously. Mavs had what?.. 28 or 29 starting lineup changes? There is nothing consistant with this team, i can't take this stat seriously right now.

Still, Josh is awful in more or less or advanced stats, offensive and defensive, that's hardly coincidence. And eye test is saying that while he is trying very hard in D, he makes a lot of mistakes, enabling attackers to turn corner on him or put him on position he has to foul. His understanding of the game is still very limited, which he is somewhat hiding with enormous energy. But if you look at his D closely, he very rarely prevent players to do whatever they want. Exum is much better in that.

Hardy is not playing enough, with some portion of garbage time, and Powell is somehow in positive lineups and he has limited playing time too.

Yeah if you compare him to Exum that's true but i was not comparing these 2 players. We all know Green had a very slow and rough start, my point was, like Followill posted, Green has made a significant leap in the past 13-15 games, which is great to see.

Love the way Luka is playing today. Looks like he hears how some say SGA is better then him and is on a mission to prove them wrong. Some of the most locked in on D I've seen from him, even if some of the calls aren't going his way.

I am arguing his point. He’s hunting for numbers to say that Green is a worse defender than Hardy, Powell, and Curry. Pointing out that he does this a lot isn’t an attack.
