Luka comes up big playing defense. I like the way Josh Green and Lively plays together. Getting Chet to make decisions defending 2 players could come up big. OKC plays great defense. But there's only one Chet on the floor. Josh recognizes the mismatch and makes the right plays. They're betting on Lively to make the wrong decisions as well. But Lively makes them pay. Lively should be even more impactful as a rim protector. Let's study Gobert and VW's film. Corner 3s and paint presence come up big. So is free throws differential. The Mavs needs better shooting in general, especially from foul line and long range.

Great efforts and energy. Great defense from both teams.

I wouldn't say visciously...we just want an open shot and good decision at the basket. Kyrie and Luka will need a break in this series. We need another ball handler to have a decent game.

Maybe tomorrow I will waste some time capturing the 4-5 SGA push offs. The 2-3 soft calls. The horrible miss on THJr being pushed and leading to Holmgrem 3 point play.

Who knew that we would be playing a team from Oklahoma that has so many favourable calls. Its genuinely crazy, between SGA and Dort flopping around... the Thunder will become very unlikable as they become more mainstream.

Anyway...

Glad Luka escaped in one piece?

Kyrie had his run.

Lively hitting 4 straight fts.

PJ Washington is just a beat. Nothing fazes him.
Indeed. It's as if the refs are against and there's always been a history of it since Cuban purchased the team.

OKC winning will be huge for the league.

We must defeat them.

I would ,I see the print but i also see Exum's role is help bring the ball up and don't give up TO's .As I said earlier in 72 minutes on the court he ONLY has 2 TO's .He's doing his job and as we all can see the Mavs won the 1st round and has a 2 to 1 game lead.

I just feel the desperation coming from OKC we need to snatch our next home game and debilitate them.

I'll put it out there ........ Luka has been a Warrior. Nobody has taken as many falls this playoffs than he has and yet he gets back up . His team mates see this and they're all fighting ,including Exum when they're on the court.

Great fight from everyone. Washington great in first half and Kyrie in 4th Q. Fat Luka missing everything but fighting for every ball. This Mavs are far more dangerous than Mavs winning because Luka and Kyrie scoring 70 points.

Massive win, pretty much controlled the game with exception of a few minutes in the third.
Refs letting Dort play outside linebacker without consequences.
Everyone contributed again - PJ, Lively, Josh & THJ, etc.

Almost had a heartattack when Kidd took out Lively down the stretch and we immediately looked shocking defensively and on the boards for that possession. Otherwise pretty well coached!

I thought we were going to lose then because I thought Kidd was going to stay small the rest of the game, which I think the OKC coach's strategy was for him to do that. To his credit he didn't. If Maxi was healthy he would have definitely played Maxi the rest of the game and probably benched both centers.

Luka had a game high 15 rebounds.

Mavs desperately need to win game 4, because I'm not sure they can play all 7 games with the same intensity. We need one easier win, but we will need normal Luka and Kyrie aggressive in all 4 q for that.

We're currently sitting at an 80% chance of winning the series, if we win Game 5 that increases to 95%, if we lose Game 5 it drops to 48%.

Rolling my eyes is what I kept doing when people were saying how much Dallas will miss him as if he was the one who was going to determine the series. I don't dislike the guy and he's not useless but he's not usually going to hit 5 3's like he did in that one game against LAC. We remember the regular season where he would go 0-3 and score 0 points, and we wanted him off the team along with THJ. He also doesn't rebound, his perimeter defense is pretty good I guess but he's no rim protector. We're talking about someone who averaged 4 ppg and 3 rpg in the regular season, not exactly Dirk.

I know Kidd would have put him in after they were fouling Lively 100% and it might have cost us the game like Game 4 against LAC.

If Maxi was on the floor, multiple layups would have scored by OKC and we will lose.
