Officiating was horrible in the 1st half, but the Thunder pulled away w/o the refs help, refs had nothing to do with this loss, they just out scored the Mavs once they inserted Joe instead of Giddey.
I agree on the officiating in the Wolves and Knicks series, the Knicks game specifically was rigged IMO.

Thats BS.
Watch the 3rd quarter. Mavs made a run but REFS said no.

Lou Dort getting 3 offensive foul calls on legit screens. They made a run out of those off. foul screen calls. And they also eliminated Mavs offense using screens at the top with those BS offensive foul calls.
Dort kicking Doncic ball and then jumping on his legs. Should've been easy kick ball call but no it became OKC fastbreak.

SGA is treated like a WNBA princess in the same court while Kyrie-Luka is defended with two hands on them. When everyone hacks you and hit your arm, then you cannot even dribble.

Can someone explain to me why and how the Knicks are able to outrebound almost all their opponents?

1. The Knicks are not that big to begin with, I'd even consider them undersized
2. Sure they play hard, but it's not like the other teams don't play hard at all, and it seems like they outrebound everyone (not just the Pacers)
3. Are you telling me Hart = modern Dennis Rodman with better jump shots? :o

Hart is a great rebounder, top 5 best non-center rebounder in the league, it's also their game plan to chase offensive boards.

What you said is not wrong obviously. But why the hell the opponents' coach(es) don't have a solution to cope with this problem?

1. They played harder than us last game, we need to play harder than them this time!
2. Hart likes to chase for offensive rebound, everyone boxes out him and OG!

I don't think it is that hard to address this kind of problem given Hart is undersized, right? (Unless Hart is on the level of Rodman or Ben Wallace...)

In the first he also traveled in 2 possessions with no call which reminds me the early days of Lebron. Good luck to any team facing the Wolves. They have NBA plot armor for financial, star-making reasons. Ant in FIBA tournament didn't have that and failed but NBA is a different beast with its refs.

I dont think Mavs have much chance with this type of star calls. Luka never ever gets those on offense. And while on defense, refs easily call tons of fouls on Kyrie and Luka for very small stuff, while it's free for Wolves players to fall onto a player or basically hugging players.

You are overthinking now. Nuggets will bounce back, that series is going to game 7.

Told ya.

When refs call the game even, calling fouls on Murray-Jokic hacking stuff, suddenly TWolves become much much worse team. We can compare the calls and it would be a lot different. Murray and Jokic are allowed to dribble today due to refs started to calls for hacking, trips and ****.

Their defense in G2 without even having Gobert was simply ref ball.

Agree 100%. Same thing can be said about Knicks. Hart was allowed by refs to be Dennis Rodman.

Be careful because the Mavs are essentially the Wolves when it comes to ref calls. In Game 1 they gave SGA every little call and we lost, in Game 2 he only shot 6 free throws and we won.

SGA was getting calls in G2 as well. 6 FT doesn't mean ****. Did you watch the game? Our players were trying to not even breathe on SGA. It was all matador defense.
But he got probably 10-15 foul calls or sth. The foul calls, though, were during the dribbling part or catching the ball. So I assume this was Kidd's adjustment. PJ, DJJ, Kyrie take most of their fouls with SGA.

I cannot imagine how would Luka play if we had the calls of SGA. It would be 50ppg every game. Its important to remember that when refs treat you like a WNBA princess, the other team does try to defend you very lightly to not give FTs which boost all other parts of your game. Tr*e Young is also enjoyed that **** a lot. However, he is too small, terrible finisher around the rim and doesnt have good shot selection.

Luka is taking screen, and Dort is flopping to get 3-4 offensive foul calls to swing. The momentum is also very different from the SGA experience.

When refs are on mission, they can even turn a game like couple of calls like this. They also did that against Mavs especially in the first game. Even 2nd game they tried but we started with 70% from 3.

This is BS for playoffs.

Jonas Valanciunas Will Not Return To Pelicans Next Season

Jonas Valanciunas will not return to the New Orleans Pelicans next season, according to Michael Scotto of the HoopsHype Podcast.

Valanciunas is not seen as a fit on the roster next to Zion Williamson.

Brandon Ingram is also considered likely to be traded by the team this offseason.

Imagine Luka - Kyrie - Ingram - PJ - Lively. Championship team without a doubt.

No thanks. Ingram does have talent. But he is too expensive to have a winning heart.

An all star who got benched in crunch moment for a reason.

Looks like Knicks need OG more than they need Brunson.

And he's not a winning basketball player and is too injury prone. Herb Jones is the guy I'd want from New Orleans

Are we back on Ingram again? He needs the ball to be effective, he would not have that luxury in Dallas. Hard pass.

Hell yeah about Herb Jones, or even Murphy III. We have one of those, we will win championships.

Glad we agree on this since it is not all about names but their fit within a system.
