And Maxi who makes 11mio and plays half a gamees a season...and has been awfull last two years

Tbf he was good when he signed the contract, just been injured non stop since and lost a step in the process.

He was the Best option they had,so I get it...still wasn't a fan of the extension...he always had injuries, missed games and was verry incosistent...should have traded him before ,and definetely should have waited till his contract ran out and then extended him,not with one year left on his old deal

Nice to Josh Green’s confidence building back up. He’s been looking much better the last two games.

Meanwhile, Jaden Hardy has been playing worse. Continuing some poor shot selection.

He needs the experience, so glad Kidd can squeeze him in for some spot duty.

What's becoming more and more evident is the fact the Mavs need more size...too many guards, too few big men...those small ball lineups with Luka-Hardaway(Hardy)-Green-Grant- Powell are getting killed in the paint...I'd definetely call Toronto about McDaniels, Philly for KJ and can't think of a cheap PF who's on the bench that could help
Don't think they make a big move this season, but some minor tweaks are needed

I don't understand why THJ was on the floor in the last 5/6 minutes of the games instead Green or DJJ.

This is what concerns me going forward.
Hardaway can be our third best player when he's on and that means we'll often see him, Kyrie and Luka closing out games.
Although I have to admit Kyrie's defense isn't that bad.

To be fair, I don't recall anyone on this board having anything negative to say about Kyrie on the court.
It's all of the nutcase stuff off the court, and wondering when he will lose interest in playing, are the complaints and concerns.

Ozwizard says the most out of pocket stupid **** anyone has ever seen about Kyrie. It’s the most unintelligible basketball ramblings ever.

He basically said Cam Thomas was better the other day.

What an ugly game, but a win is a win.

Great game for 3 quarters. No Lively or Green in the 4th. Surprise surprise. :D

Our offensive game plan is too 3 point oriented, and there is no back up option at all. Our defense is still very bad, and it even goes worse when we play small. Coach Kidd has a rigid gameplan that doesnt change, not even the first basic rule, you play more when you play good, and you go to the bench when you play bad.

At least we learned that without a doubt Holmes should be seeing all of the Lively backup minutes until further notice.

I watched quickly after waking up and didn't pay much attention, but I'll need to go back and look thoroughly at Holmes minutes, the fact Kidd decided to go with him instead of Powell is telling they are seeing something in practice, and that they are recognizing the horrible on/off data with Powell.

In general he was shooting 3's very well so far. I think he became a bit lazy plus a ton of non calls kinda forced him to become "lazy". He was a master at getting to the rim finding guys in the corner for open 3s but like i said, he became way too reliant on 3s because he's shooting them better or he's simply trying to reserve some energy. Then there is still the leg issues he's playing through, so we don't know exactly why he's playing like this. But yeah, i do agree with you and it puzzles me aswell.

It feels Luka isn't driving half as much as he's used to, part of it is having DJJ running and slashing from the weak side, which allows him to reduce the load, but if Mavs are going to have a chance in the PO, it's only through Luka being the best rim pressure player in the league.

We'll take the win any way we can. Kyrie was the game MVP tonight. Holmes proved he deserves minutes. In the season of Thanksgiving, Josh Green even played a crucial role in the win. This is the Green we need to be successful

It truly is a holiday. After 3 years daoneandonly finally found a way to say something positive about Green. I salute you sir.

If he can play like this consistently, you'll see a much more positive and upbeat daoneandonly
