Happy for a win but overall the NBA should be ashamed of the product going out on the court. ZERO s given by anyone on the defensive end.

And Luka handling all the offense :D
He's gonna go all out for 70 after what happened. Odds are he will tire out and start taking some long step backs

Guess you were pretty wrong about that... he could've force so many shots but he passed them up.

I knew after Embiid that Luka was gonna go after when he was feeling it… did not know it would be the same week. Def won’t be his last time hitting 70

Look at the scores .This is and offense 1st league as Ive been saying . Indiana beat a 62 pt explosion from Booker .Towns lost after his explosion .You have to score to win games.

And when the playoffs come we've never seen a team win a title that didnt have a top half of the league defense.

Still need defense because you not gonna be shooting high percentage every game, especially during playoffs.

Need a proper coach and players for that. At times it looks like Mavs simply don't even care playing defense. And these weird lineups Kidd throws together are sure not working.

Wild game. Good stuff.

Hawks tried a little bit of everything against Luka. Bey. Johnson. Capela. Doubling. Denying. Had Bey in some sorta shadow coverage.

Yay for B2B! :banghead:

Hawks literally should have just doubled Luka but didn't really start doing that until he had close to 50pt or maybe 60pt? I forget. I would have forced someone else to beat me. I do not believe in letting one guy beat you - because its sets a bad precedent. When you start doing that type of stuff - the team kinda loses respect for defense.

Good for Luka and I was rooting for OT for the heck of it..but the state of the nba (with no hand checking) and no defense -- is what led to the explosion of scoring since the steve nash mvp era. It makes the game fun for the causal fan but for someone who really likes both sides of the court - its kinda laughable.

As cool as it is that Luka can score 70 points, I'm not sure it helps the morale of this team. It's a not a formula for any serious winning... But on the positive side, it shows what Luka can possibly do when he's not whining for every call. Did anyone else notice that Luka kept his complaining to a minimum this game and had his best scoring game ever? I hope this is a lesson for him. Don't complain and stay locked in. I notice him talking to Kidd more and more throughout this game. I think its a good idea for Kidd to constantly stay in Luka's ear and remind him not to complain and to stay locked in.

Kobe's 81 points doesn't seem to be that impressive anymore.
Everyone has a right to be stupid. Some just abuse the privilege.

Pure insanity, the crowd was into it, the PBP guy was into it, what a performance.

NBA regular season is still a joke... But Luka is still Luka. What a game.

Thanks to Kidd who teach him how to score 73points.

Probably we have the worst finisher at the rim in the history... THJ, Exum, Green, G-Will, Hardy
But at least tonight they maked their 3s.
The D was optional tonight too.
Holmes looks better than Powell obviously but we everybody know that we will play next game in April or May probably.

I'm sorry for Young who thinks that he is in the same Luka tier. No way man.
You just are a poor's man Curry.

In 18 years, Luka with 73, got closest to that number. And there is still 8 pts margin to Kobe. I think it's still very impressive. The difference was, Raptors guarded Kobe with 1 guy, Hawks were blitzing and sending hard double teams entire 4th Q.

Luka got it done with the most efficient game of all time aswell and finished the game with 2nd highest game score of all time only 0.6pts behind MJ in 1990. If Green, THJ and Exum didn't blow point blank layups it would have been a 70pt triple double aswell, he would finish with a higher GS than MJ.

That game wasn't a serious one, it was a scrimmage... Toronto never tried to stop Kobe and he still shooted a lot (i don't remember exactly but maybe 40+).
