RS 23/24 - Mavs vs Bucks (Sat., 830PMEST)

Post#1 » by Dirk » Fri Feb 2, 2024 5:30 pm

Here comes the Bucks.

They aren't happy. Just lot to the Blazers and their new head coach (wait, what, you can change coaches?) is looking for his first W with Mil.

Exum out, the usual suspects are questionable.
Maxi missed 35, Kyrie 21 and Exum 16 (this would be the 17th).

Absolutely unbelievable. Maxi plays 2 games and is almost back to hospital. I don't understand anything anymore with this team. At least Kyrie is also almost back.

It's pretty believable because this is what happens every year. Front office gambles with injury prone players and lose. Meanwhile we have a select few that have to carry the load and end up suffering with extreme usage. Rinse and repeat, here's Mavs front office policy. What's frustrating is that they don't learn and carry on doing the same mistake over and over again expecting a different outcome.

Kleber is a joke
Exum is still the old same Exum
Irving is a mistery

Luka's patience must be huge.

If we're trading Kyrie, trade him to the Lakers for DLO.

You know, anyone who is playing is better than someone, who's nonstop on injury list. Unfortunately for Mavs, both backup ball handlers are more or less out in last 2 months. Funny thing about Kyrie are type of his injuries, he will miss half of a season with minor injuries. Who's 14 days out with a sprained thumb?

What? Trading for an injury prone head-case who barely proved he can affect winning and who plays mostly offense was a mistake? Who could have known?

Went from Brunson and KP to Kyrie.

Can't help but think we'd be much better with him and DFS than we are now.
And, we'd still have our pick.

That trade never made sense to me.

Mavs absolutely would be better off without that deal, 21 missed games and counting, OTOH, last yeat collapse wouldn't have happened and Mavs wouldn't have Lively.

Irony is, they're trying to get DFS back now and it will potentially cost them even more assests to do so lol... I didn't agree with KP trade and i was very reserved with Kyrie trade.

Though when Kyrie plays, he's been really good it's just that lately he hasn't played and it doesn't matter how good he can be in playoffs if Luka will be tired as hell and Mavs could even miss them completely.

He's beginning to make KP look like an ironman.

Ky's injuries have given us Luka 73 pt performance....not sure if we would have ever seen that if Kyrie played. It will also (hopefully) force the Mavs front office to be aggressive and improve the team. Might be a blessing in disguise. Just saying. We'll see. I'm going to support Kyrie regardless of how much hate he gets on this board because I haven't heard anything from the Mavs about him not being really being hurt. So, the way I see it, you guys are just hating on a injured player and that's corny.

If Luka plays against the Bucks. We will win this game. Giannis will get his 50 points though...
