Luka is the main offensive generator of the team. If he got treated like A.Edwards-Westbrook then he needs to take some shots. He needs to be able to drive and draw doubles for offense to function.

First of all, Luka is not frustrating player to root for. So cut that **** in Mavs forum.

Secondly read what I wrote. Sometimes you need to go take open shots to make opponent defend you closely. The shots were not so forced like he does in regular season. Zubac and stepback 3 for few possesions. Luka loves that shot normally. It opens up so much if he makes few. Anyway now they made more in 3rd qt. Hopefully they keep making open shots

How about Kyrie's defense this whole series? Him guarding Harden as well? Come on! (this is crediting kyrie btw...when he has to play defense - in the playoffs etc - he's one of the better 6'3 guards who do so who are also asked to score)

Mavs need to respect their opponent. This is when someone like THJ would be useful. Or Kidd should have brought in hardy and gave kyrie a break. The lack of focus on this team is going to be our downfall. We have a great chance of getting to WCFs but if we dont its gonna be bc lack of focus like finishing the game. (free throws, corner 3 point shooting, and lack of attention in general)

Did Luka got a massage or sth in half time? He come to 3rd qt making couple buckets and a 3. But now at the end of the game, he missed bunnies inside, and really doesn't look good. Kinda worried about Luka's knee and OKC series coming up.

Can DJJ defend SGA? Sounds like a good matchup for us. If not there is PJ and Exum come to my mind.

Would anyone trade for a 34 year old P.George and give him 3 year contract averaging around 35 million a year? (green, maxi, thj, draft pick?) for George? I gotta ask. There was the rumor about Klay but I rather have Paul. They are the same age. Is it just me or does Paul not look happy with the clippers? Just asking because I know we're looking for an upgrade at SF or is that too much of a price?

Kidd is such a horrible in game coach, this should've been 40 point blowout, Mavs were the much better team, but Kidd TO and play calling played right into Lue's hands...
There is more to coaching than defensive planning...

That's what I fear for this team. So many little mistakes that will keep them from winning it all, imo. Despite this, I'm hoping for the best.

It took awhile for Gafford and Lively to get going in the LA series but I predict they will play alot better against Holmgren who cant back down and bully them like Zubac did .
