Last time I saw Hardy play against OKC and OKC was playing for the #1 seed and they took his lunch away

In the general board some are bringing up how we miss Maxi, as if his one or two 3 pointers would have made a difference. We need healthy Luka not Maxi Kleber.

Doncic gets the glory when he has a good game during regular season but he's sucking for most of these playoffs.

This loss is on the stars, most notably Luka. The role players (except THJ) played well enough to win this game. The stars just didn't deliver. If they even played their average RS self, we would have won this game.

Stars and rebounding, Luka was bad, Kyrie was passive...
THJ shouldn't see minutes, he's far from being a factor in this loss, but you just can't afford him on the floor...

IF the MAVS played with the EFFORT that Gafford played with tonight ,it would have been a better game . Gafford wasn't spoon fed a good game ...he went after it .

Some of us have known Luka has had a sprain knee for weeks now, try to keep up. You seriously think he just doesn't know how to make a 3 pointer anymore for the second series now? He was 38% in the regular season. You use your knees to shoot.

Agreed. We should be more than capable of overcoming Kleber’s absence.

Careless turnovers, lack of finishing initial defensive possessions, and Luka still a little off on his shot are what did us in.

Have to give OKC credit. Their bench consistently hit threes and played solid defense too.

I’m not sure how much Kidd needs to change gameplan wise. Gotta get Luka in the paint off some drives. Gotta keep hoping we get stupid hot on threes.

This is phony ...Luka is a set shooter not a jump shooter. If he was MPJ and a jump shooter that might be the case but Luka never takes a jumper ,it's not in his repertoire.

You can't just ignore an injury surely you don't think OKC just made Luka look like he's 40 years old? You've seen a healthy Luka right? It's not making an excuse for Luka, it's just a fact.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Thanks for clarifying that. Even if you don't jump you still use your knees. Do you think players stand straight up when they shoot or do they bend their KNEES to shoot. You're showing a very low intelligence for how basketball works.

Mavericks Star Luka Doncic Appears on Injury Report Against OKC Thunder

Superstar Luka Doncic is already dealing with a knee sprain that doesn’t appear to be getting better.

I guess the league is making excuses for Luka as well. This is coming across as you hate Luka and the Mavs just stop he is injured it is a fact I'm not discussing it further.

Let's pull Luka away from the roster as the team is ready to go home. Let's not risk another big injury issue. Focus on player development instead for the rest of the series. Take away Hardaway as well. The Mavs won't win over Minny nor Boston anyway.

HaHa ,Luka gets interviewed ,JKidd gets interviewed ....NO ONE asks them if his knee is hurting or if there's a problem ...TNT , no one talks about Luka being hurt. They say they have to play better ,they have to shoot better ,they need to rebound better and they have to slow down on the TO's ........ No mention of playing hurt or being unhealthy for Luka.

In the end I don't care if Luka is Luka is injured or if he just doesn't know how to make a 3 anymore. But needs to stop shooting them in high volume. I don't care about spacing about no energy to drive, about what ifs. These 3s are hurting the team. And his loss of confidence from them transfers over to his ft shooting.

There is no way we win a game when hardaway plays 17 min.
Yes we miss maxi but to be honest he would've been killed by holmgren as well

Those were not fouls in the 90s. Today? Hell yes. Brunson would have got it 100000%!

Those are not fouls in general. If they are fouls, where are the foul? Playing strong defense isnt a foul.

Those were ALL FOULS.

Similar to Lou Dort defense. The guy fouled 20 times but only called for 5.

And if what happened to Jokic-Murray-Doncic-Kyrie is no foul why would SGA get touch foul BULLSH*T?
How come f'in Lou Dort is getting a CHEAP/SOFT offensive foul calls?

In the 3rd quarter, Mavs made a run against OKC REFs but it just wasn't enough.
* Tons of BS offensive foul calls.
* Lou Dort kicking the ball but refs are calling that a steal.
* SGA kicking DJJ but getting a BS foul call even after review.
* Even Aaron Wiggins getting soft-ass calls while its totally okay to put two hands, wrap Kyrie.

This is BS. I am not going to watch NBA other then this series.
NBA and its match-fixing despicable refs already sealed the Wolves-OKC finals.

Wolves didn't even need Gobert for so-called great defense because REFS are the #1 in D. They swallow whistle against Mavs players, while gifting for SGA, offensive fouls to save Dort.

Two hands on the ball handler all the time.
They visibly hold Mavs players all game.
Dort kicking ball and its counted steal because refs not calling.
Many times they put their feet to trip Luka and Kyrie, no call.
They go air and land on Gafford fake but no call.
Kyrie cant even dribble the ball like he normally does. The f'in Kyrie-Murray top dribblers in the game are not allowed to dribble due to non-call fouls.

This shi*t is happening while SGA is treated like WNBA princess.
