just because sheed doesnt post up, dont mean he cant, my thing is i love anderson, but i think him and hollins are similar, why add a player who does the same things as another. wallace adds a demention to this team the mavs dont have. now i would sit him down if im donnie and tell him we need him in the post, but i still hink he has a couple years left in him

Once again, fine with Hollins. If that is your opinion, then good. But Wallace offers nothing to this team we don't already have. I totally disagree with that.

I can see a Dirk/Damp combo with Sheed/Bass subbing in at the same time. I can give you that.

But what I never, never want to see is Kidd/Terry/Howard/Dirk/Sheed. They would have a terrible +/- because they brick without an offensive rebounder.

Dirk 1.1 O + 7.3D = 8.4 RPG.........37.7 MPG
Sheed 0.8 O + 6.6 D = 7.4 RPG......32.2 MPG

Dampier 2.7 O + 4.4 D = 7.1 RPG..........23 MPG
Bass 1.6 O + 2.9 D = 4.5 RPG...............19 MPG

Sheed is the WORST offensive rebouner of the bunch despite having more minutes that Damp and Bass

Edit:
Anderson 2.3 O + 3.9 D = 6.2 RPG..........20.6 MPG

Just reiterating the "if."

Never said Anderson was my #1. Just saying I definately take him before Wallace.

After seeing game one, does anyone else see that Birdman >>>>> Wallace?

24 min, +24 on +/-, 11 pts, 6 blks, 6 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl, only 1 to & 1 pf.

I would take him over Wallace but I would not give the Birdman the entire MLE. We have bigger needs, mainly SG and PG. I get ill seeing Barea at 5'8" in the starting lineup at the SG.

SLAM contributor J. Gamble [making his debut with us next issue] hears from a close personal friend of Rasheed Wallace’s that unless Sheed gets $8 million to play next year, he’s going to retire. If that’s true, we’ve probably seen the last of Sheed in the NBA. Link

Sheed is not going to retire. He will retire for ~60 games and then jump on the bandwagon of whatever team is Stern's pick of the year.

With Sheed and Dirk together, I smell the Finals again.
