If he's healthy, he'll add some lefty punch to the lineup.

I really hope this isn't all we plan on doing as far as offensively. We're fine pitching and defensively. But too many times last season, it was Longoria or bust at the plate. This year we should be a little better with Desmond Jennings starting from the get-go and having some experience under his belt. But I really wish they'd add another bat.

A bat with some punch and the black holes offensively at SS, C, 2B are all still issues.

Molina will solidify the Rays at C defensively, and maybe somewhat offensively.....but at 36 he's getting long in the tooth.

Sean Rodriguez could be headed for SS, but he's got to get better at the plate.

Kotchmann is still on the bubble as far as resigning goes, but I'm not sure the Rays are convinced he can duplicate a .300 average again......and contributes little in the way of power.
