World Series/Rays vs Phillies

Post#1 » by craig01 » Wed Oct 22, 2008 8:55 am

Well here it is. The final chapter begins.

Tonight, game 1 is Kazmir against Hamels.

Which Kazmir shows up.......the one with the slider, or the one without?

Big lefty matchup tonight. We have all the momentum on our side, and we are young enough that fatigue should not be an issue.

Can't wait to see TB as WS Champs.

Game 3 is threatened by rain.

I think it'll be played, but maybe start a little late if I guessed right at the weather map.

The Rays let game 3 get away. Almost pulled off what would have been a back breaking comeback.

Bats are dead. Longo and Pena must think the dirt is in the strike zone.

They need to come alive.

It might be time for Maddon to get more "orthodox" in his approach.

Important game tonight.

What a bizarre night game 5 was.

I started laughing at Joe Buck's stupidity as he kept implying that the game could have benn called for rain.

WHAT A DUMBASS.

Baseball has NEVER had a rain shortened Series game in 105 years. The game would have continued even had the Rays not scored.

Good season Rays!!!!!!!!!!!

I was hoping you would pull it out, but it was not to be. You needed some of those runs you scored against us. To bad on the outcome, but your future looks good.

Yeah, Rays shot their wad against Chicago and Boston.

Philly was anticlimactic in a way.
