This was a great, great opening day, and I saw first-hand why Andrus is at SS instead of Young (night and day defensively).

i drove down from stillwater to opening day and it was a freakin blast. there's nothing like opening day IMO, especially when you're missing school

but seriously that game was completel domination in all 3 facets of the game and it's one of the most complete victories ive seen from this team in a long time

great pitching, great defense behind the pitching (particularly young and andrus, who's already shown more range then young) and great offense/timely hitting (getting 4 runs off lee with 2 outs) maybe the off day yesterday got me even more fired up since this season has taken so long to get here, who knows

Great games by Cruz and Andrus just hope Salty is ok from whatever happened to him. Padilla went one batter too long tonight oh well when the pitching struggles a bit but they still win I can live with that.
