Season Done, 2nd place assured

Post#1 » by catalyst » Thu Sep 17, 2009 12:33 am

But I think the playoffs have been cooked with this stretch of poor games between Tex and Sea/Oak. Season has been great fun, and I hope it is a season to build on with the rotation. Any other opinions?

The only way the Rangers get back in this is if they sweep LAAOA. However what a great season for this team and am really looking forward to 2010 season especially if Hicks sells them to someone with $ to spend.

It has been fun to watch the pitchers develop and have success. I hope the Nolan offseason can help them become sturdy, consistent starters. As always in Tex, the key is the bullpen. That is always a crapshoot.

Now officially over with an 11-0 laydown. Let's let Borbon play CF, let Feliz Start or Close, and see where we go in the future

With win in Sea last year, 2nd straight 2nd place finish. I think is makes washington the second most successful manager behind Johnny Oates. So little is expected of this team. Now he wants another starting pitcher (Ben Sheets) Right Handed Bat and another Left Bullpen pitcher. That is said with the expectation of Byrd being re-signed.
