How to fix the Rangers

Post#1 » by bbills1999 » Mon Nov 12, 2007 4:10 am

let me start off by saying im not a Rangers fan is this is just my Humble opinion

1st dont resign Sosa
2nd Trade V Padilla to Sea for R Sexson http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/texas_rangers/index.html
i know sexson struggled last year but he is worth a shot. if he turn it around he is a solid bat.. Sexson become your DH
3rd Trade G Laird and a prospect to boston for C Crisp and D Mirrabilli. Crisp is solid Defensively and if he can get back to hitting like he did in Cleveland he will be a steal at his price tag..
4th Sign K Lohse , T Jones , K Wood and S Casey
5th try to extend Kinslers for 5 or 6 yrs
here is how your team breaks downs

Lineup:
1. Kinsler 2B
2. Catalanotto LF
3. S Casey 1b
4. H Blalock 3B
5.R Sexson DH
6.M Young SS
7. Saltamacchia C
8. J Botts RF
9. C Crisp CF

Bench
R Vazquez Inf
D Muphy of
N Cruz OF
D Mirrabilli

Rotation
K Millwood
B McCarthey
K Lohse
K Gabbard
K Loe/K Wood

Bullpen
CJ Wilson(until he is ready to close)
K Wood
F Fransisco
J Benoit
A Oskuna
W Littleton

Closer
T Jones

aight there you go your Rangers go from the basement to contending for a playoff spot.. what do you all think????

I am not sure about Sexson, but your plan is better than any other I have seen. Get'er Done
