Schneider shouldn't have been back after that debacle against the Mariners. I know teams don't like to let managers (even bad ones) go this early in the season but this guy is killing us.

And they both (Atkins and Schneider) definitely had no business returning after that PR disaster to end last year. Schneider is gonna be booed for that at home for the rest of his time here.

Shapiro clearly believes in the process though. It’s only a matter of time they say

Can’t disagree. Only reason to go to Rogers Centre is to check out te renos, not to watch this train wreck.

I can't believe we had a playoff team and the best we could do at the deadline was Paul Dejong lmao

This has to be Schneider's last play - try to fire up his players by berating them in the media. This strategy rarely works, and if it doesn't he surely has be on his way out soon after. I'd like to think if they lose this series, he's gone come Monday. And they sure as heck better send Guillermo with him.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Somebody gave me free tickets this week and I gave them immediately away. Not a chance I’m stepping foot in that building any time this year.

Montoyo was ripping some of his players right before the end as well (Kikuchi in particular). It won’t be much longer now

Their models told them that any trade wouldn’t make a significant difference to their playoff/WS chances so they didn’t do anything. Intangibles aren’t a thing to this FO.

The FO,and the players do not like each other.I,d bet money on it.
When a team wins games, and it still feels bad from a radio host, and fans POV,that says it right there.Last season that happened a lot.

I gave two pairs of Jays tickets to two clients last week and discovered that none of the four seats were used.

John’s not the guy who can’t hit nor does he make bullpen calls. Games are pre-mapped you fire him and the next guy makes the same decisions. Calling out Swanson is him losing patience with the nerds.

Just think 2 years ago you could swap Monotoyo’s name for every schnieder post in this thread. I told you montoyo is a puppet and so will his replacement. The nerds and fo have to go.

Happy Easter buddy!

Yeah, getting the same vibes. What a disaster he and this organization has been.

Lateral Quicks wrote:I'm not watching the games. And if they don't do something major to shake things up soon, I may even stop listening on the radio/following on Gameday. This is just really, really bad baseball.

I have been following the Jays since 1991 (the year the All-star game came to Toronto). I was in Middle School then, but fell in love with the game of Baseball. The memories of 1992/93 will always be there for me to cherish. However, even in the Gord Ash and JP Ricciardi rebuilding lean years, you still had something to look forward to. Just watched a couple of innings last night, before turning the game off. More and more like you, I am losing my appetite to watch any of these games.

This dispirited team from the analytic clowns at the top headed by Atkins to the buffoon Manager, has sucked the love of MLB for me. I would not mind even a complete rebuild sooner rather than later if this team continues to perform this way. At least you can see some young guys from Buffalo like Martinez get regular at bats. Just want a complete overhaul from the top to the bottom, if a rebuild is necessary. Shapiro can stay on the business side focusing on renovations, but his buddy Atkins and his Analytics Geeks need to be shown the door.
