Nice stretch (OK only 3 games) of positives. Looking for very minor victories.
Rather than just whining (which we all do), let's note the good of late.

- Great comeback Saturday.
- Very good start by Manoah on Sunday (ruined by our offence, and an untimely error)
- Nice win tonight shorthanded
- Romano / Guererro / Bichette playing a bit better.
- Varsho hits a HR, steals a HR, and gets the job done in the 10th.

Yes, I find that odd, especially since he only has to DH.
I'll trust (with hesitation) that the team believes swinging a bat causes more risk to his back spasms / recovery.

A MLB team playing a game without a bench (as we apparently are today) is quite something.

I was just about certain they were gonna walk Vlad and Bo back to back there to face Vogelbach again (and I think they sort of tried).

Its tough when 3 of them are normal starters (Springer, Janssen, Turner) and KK looks basically able. Its tough to DL any of them for 10 days I suppose.

They definitely can't do this all week. Something will have to give.

Orioles are a winning team yet half their ballpark is empty. The Jays on the other hand are drawing big crowds for a **** product. Why would they be motivated to make front office changes? Lol

And they have an amazing ballpark. maybe that bridge taken down has something to do with it

No mention of Berrios who is the only reason for the win. This team put up 2 runs over 9 innings..juat pathetic. I cant watch this team with guys like varsho batting near the mendoza line caue he defends well

Yimi deserves the closer role no?

Vladdy and Bo heating up. Let's hope the rest of the players start doing the same. We are better than our record indicates.

We need to stay out of double plays and score with RISP.

IIRC, they just recently botched the process with Yimi. He was out for 12 days and they wasted his roster spot rather than putting him on the DL for 10 days.

I stand to be corrected.

I’m fine with just using him whenever an important situation arises and he is rested. We will get more innings out of him this way rather than as a closer.

Seems like a weird thing to post after Romano delivered 2 shutout innings in a win over the best team in the AL, but shouldn’t we want our best RP (Yimi) available to pitch in the highest leverage spots in games rather than just 9th inning leads of 1-3 runs
