Fire this red faced imbecile into the sun.

You beat me to this post. 29 other Managers would not have thrown out this lineup today, when Jansen should be DH instead of a scrub like Vogelbach who is hitting .103. If this lineup is instructed from the clowns at the top, that is even worse. Varsho also hitting Second makes no sense at all, given his struggles the past couple of weeks.

But.. But.. Jano caught TWO WHOLE GAMES in a row! There's no way he has the strength or energy to swing a bat today! He needs AT LEAST two days off since tommorow is a scheduled off day for the Jays. It's this kind of blatant, disconnected, blind decision making that has turned this franchise into a league wide joke. We finally get our first offensive breakout in over 30 games and instead of sticking with the hot hand, we immediately go back to our pre planned, pre determined lineup that was decided months ago by a computer because X player needs rest days on Y days no matter how hot or cold they are or what the current vibe is or what the current streak is, or what the current record is. We're sticking to our pre planned lineups come hell or high water.

Just seems like hitters have figured Manoah out and he needs another pitch. Changeup has to be it. It will help against lefties especially.

He has no command of anything and hasn’t for over a year

Disagree. He's still shown plenty so far. Lot of pitchers often struggle putting hitters away, that pitch that gets weak contact or strikeout. If they can't, walks pile up, hard contact leads to runs.

Am I drunk? Just turned the game on and I see 3 shutout innings from Manoah.

Manoah walked or hit a half dozen guys last start and that has pretty much been a constant for over a year now

But sure, command isn’t an issue

Man, good thing we broke up that 10 run 15 hit lineup from yesterday just to give Vogelbach and Springer more at bats. Just unreal. Why mess with a good thing when you've had so few "good" offensive games this season? Does this red faced imbecile not care about confidence or momentum for his hitters? Why put Springer right back to leadoff? Why move Bo back up after a 1 for 5 game? Why vogelbach...ever?

Putting guys away on 2 strikes separates a lot of pitchers. If you don't, problems accumulate quickly. Of course command matters.

Vogelbach is completely useless. Only a joke franchise has one of the hottest hitters on the team like Jansen sit on the bench, so that fat scrub can get playing time.

Schneider said he doesnt want Vogelbach sitting for too long?? Really? Who in the actual fudge cares about Vogelbach??? This bum doesnt even deserve to be in the Majors, let alone have at bats catered to him so god forbid his uber valuable bat gets too rusty. Like wtf is the thinking here??? Especially when you're sitting a red hot bat in Jano to make room for him!

I'd rather an older prospect that you are OK with playing sparingly like Spencer Horwitz (that can at least play a few positions even if not that competently) or a 4th/5th OF type with speed than Vogelbach at this point.

Manoah pitched well - should have been out of that inning, as it was all soft contact until the HR.

Thank GOD we got Vogelbach some MUCH NEEDED playing time today. Cant have him sitting too long eh John? Need to completely destroy our lineup chemistry and good vibes from yesterday with more pre-planned rest days. Who cares about winning our first series in the past month?
