Vladdy officially has the lowest fWAR in our lineup (0.6). Not sure what's going on with him.

The Jays this year are nigh unwatchable. At least in the last few years they had fun offense or crazy see saw games. Even when they win this year it's not fun to watch. I'm amazed we're still above .500. But the starting pitching, which was the one thing that got us our "hot" start this season, is starting to come back down to earth

Cimber and White should be DFA as soon as both Ryu and Chad Green are ready to pitch again in the MLB level (hopefully in Mid or Late July). Apparently Zach Pop will be out longer. A team aspiring for the post-season should not have White and Cimber on the roster anymore.

Pop threw a inning for Dunedin on the weekend.

What happened to Adam Cimber? He was arguably our second best RP after Romano last year, then this year he turns into 2022 Trevor Richards

Groundball out, groundball out, groundball out....wtf are these guys even doing during these at bats? Is this a team wide pandemic where all we can do is hit groundball outs or groundball singles??

Last time they were easy to watch...the Tampa 20 lineup.Vlad, and Varsho were doing better than they were in previous lineups...but bonehead Schneider doesn,t get it.They even used that same lineup for 2 consecutive games, and went on a winning streak vs NYM.Makes me wonder how many teams change their lineups,as often as we do.So frustrating :banghead:

Man imagine if we had Ohtani on this team. Absolutely destroying the majors with his bat right now. Hit his 24th HR last night, while also throwing 100mpg as a pitcher. How does someone like that even exist? And why do the trash angels have him? Smh.

How does Martinez still have a job? Name one hitter that has become significantly better under his watch? Now how many have become worse?

This team doesn't have it. If they're still hanging around .500 come the deadline, they should consider retooling, if not an outright rebuild. The prospect capital just isn't there to add to this group, and I doubt there is room in the budget either. The farm is so bare, we can't let some of these vets walk for nothing in the futile hope of contending this year.

And I don't trust Shapiro or Atkins with a rebuild, so probably time for a new front office too.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
