Who would produce more with full-time ABs at 1B, Vlad or Spencer Horwitz?
Horwitz off to a great start, coming off a great 2023. He looks like he belongs on the big club, but there's no room for him with Turner and Vogelbach.

Don't play the hot hand and replace him with KK against a Lefty. Good stuff.
If you had to dig I suppose you could argue that you want Varsho to stay hot so sit him against a Lefty - but its not enough of a reason for me.

I don't mind sitting Varsho vs a lefty but KK has been terrible all year I would've taken my chances.

Varsho was 1 for 4, and outside of his Home Run, he looked terrible in the rest of the bats striking out on bad pitches like he normally does. I have no problem KK and Varsho both taking turns sitting on the bench.
Both of these guys should not be in the lineup together on a consistent basis, since they have been both terrible all year at the plate. When you are paying KK 10.5 million this year, he has to play some games and cannot always be parked on the bench.

Varsho is miles better than Kiermaier in every respect right now.
