It's baseball, so it's entirely possible that Richards/Kikuchi muddle through 5 IP and given up 2 runs, and we win running away.

I hope they see the light now.

Bichette finished the 2021 season batting .298/.343/.484 with 29 home runs, 102 RBIs and 25 stolen bases. He led the American League with 191 hits, while defensively he led the league with 24 errors.
IMO-It would be even better for the team if they flipped Bo,s batting spot with Vladdys.

Incredible turnaround!

Maybe an indication that people should flip the **** out because someone has a bit of a slump. But that's probably too much to ask.

Common, Jack! He's not been particularly good this year. The trade idea was strongly focused on what the potential return could be. Would need to be outstanding. Also depends on how/where the organization wants to spend their money. Trading Austin Martin seemed a little premature.. but was smart based on internal opinions. And I'm not certain the book is written on Bo yet.. At the very least, he's #21 in asset value! No one's ******* out. Glad to have him. Just don't swing like a maniac and cut the locks! LOL!

Despite his early-season slump and his troubles throwing, he's been one of the best shortstops in baseball over the full season. That's pretty damned useful.

11 runners left on. Have to keep using the good RPs.

It's been more than an early season slump, though. Prior to September, 4 of the first 5 months he put up an OPS of below .750. That's tolerable for a great defensive shortstop, but Bo isn't that.

I'm happy he's red hot, but we need a lot more consistency from him. He can't be an easy out for half the year or more, which he has been this year.

This is a really, really poorly pitched game by the Jays. Romano may have to bail them out again.

He was hitting .289/.335/.502 from May 1st entering today, and his numbers are even better now. It was basically just an early-season slump.

I’d like to know how many baseball hitters are “consistent”, anyway? Are any of our hitters consistent? Even Kirk goes through slumps. Baseball is a game of ups and downs.

Lol great hacky-sack play to end it.

The way Tabby and Dan have been mentioning tomorrow's SP as "he who must not be named" I have a feeling it's The Kooch.

They mentioned who they think it will be: Trevor Richards, with Kikuchi coming in after him.

June OPS: .723
July OPS: .719
August OPS: .743

September OPS entering today's game: 1.171

He's been more bad than good. There's good reason he was moved down in the lineup for a time there.

He was an above average hitter in all three of those months, while playing the second most demanding defensive position.
