Somehow an Alek Manoah with no command who has been getting hit hard and walking guys all game has more rope with this team than a dominating Yusei Kikuchi.

Good way to blow a lead.

Crazy how tim mayza was getting shat on to start the season and now is one of our best relievers.

I like how buck Says watch the movement on this slider like we can see any movement from lefties from this camera angle.

Fits in with the media pretending it is somehow normal for a team to be starting a 6+ ERA pitcher when it is nearly August. Manoah was incredibly lucky not to allow 4-5 runs in that one.

Legitimately no idea how he got to go out there for this inning with the lead.

If Mayza allows this next run, it will be 4 runs on Manoah though.

Apparently Schneider didn't watch the 5th inning. Or any of his outing at all.

Lol. Springer swinging on 3–0 as if he is Shohei Ohtani.

Wouldn’t be at all bad to work that walk and have bases loaded with 1 out. Oh well, George had an idea.

What an awful 3-0 swing that was. Springer has killed them in this game.

Off a sinker pitcher too. Same former blue jay who got Kirk to DP. Swinging overtop much?

Never would have thought that a healthy George Springer this year would translate to mediocre production by his standards. Still lots of season but I hope this isn't a true drop off.

1-24 with a couple walks from springer and bichette this series. Tough to win getting that from the top 2 in your lineup.

Bichette in particular has been pretty bad at the plate for a while now. His timing looks off.

We have to lead the league in challenges that have no chance to overturn the call on the field. I know we are in the 7th inning but I rather keep my challenge there.

So who is going to pitch the 8th? Pearson or Garcia. Or will it be time to release the wild thing Cabrera?

Or are they going to stretch Swanson or Romano?

I'd go with Richards, which probably still won't work.

Pearson was sent to AAA indefinitely to work on his command.

Yeah, I didn't notice his absence on the lineup. But thankfully he was released or Schneider might have kept using him in high leverage.
