It could be worse. Cards were up 2-0 in the 9th with their all-star closer on the mound who gave up a single then walked back-to-back batters for the first time all season before hitting the next batter to make it a 1-run game. Phillies added 5 more runs and ended up stealing game 1 despite having just 4 baserunners through 8 innings.

They were happy for 8 innings, I've been miserable for two hours.

I'd rather be down early and expect to lose with the potential to come back than be leading 2-0 with an expected win percentage of like 99.9% only to give up 6 runs in the 9th lol.
