That was actually almost fair compared to some of the inside calls he's given Perez on RHBs today. It's a horrible zone.

In any case, looks like it's not going to matter as Kikuchi has begun pitching.

I for the life of me can not remember a significant come from behind 8th inning or later victory by the Jays this season.. these must be a few and yet, it seems as though their record when trailing after 7 is quite poor.

In his age 24 year, Jeter put up a bWAR of 7.5.

Bichette currently sits at 2.6, and that after an otherworldly two weeks late in the year.

fWAR is much closer. Bo 3.8, Jeter 6.2. While in their age 23 season, Bo put up a 5.1 fWAR to Jeter’s 4.0.

Also, the hot streak is a part of his season. Not sure why you’re acting like that’s a negative. “Omg, he needed to have a hot streak.” That’s what baseball is. Players go hot and cold. Their numbers at the end of the day are what they’re judged on.

It's a big deal because he's supposed to be one of our better players. Sure, good players also have slumps, but are much more consistent overall - that's one reason they're good players. Bichette was an easy out for much of the season. We don't want him to be Randal Grichuk 2.0.
