The guy has never been this elite of a hitter for his career though couldn't expect him to keep up his otherworldly numbers forever.

Yeah, but he wasn't gonna hit like Barry Bonds for long.

You don't see a starter throwing 100 all the often.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

He's always been a streaky hitter. Scorching for a week or two, then ice cold for the same amount of time.

Damn. 1st and 2nd no outs and we can only squeeze out 1 run. Looks like McClanahan got better and better as that inning went on too. Might not get many more chances tonight.

Neither umpire was apparently paying attention on that swing from Bethancourt. Incredible.

He's got a 180 wRC+ (and near .400 BA) and has been killing the ball all season. So probably soon?

He's been a singles machine so far. Hopefully soon.

Manoah getting squeezed now. That won't help.

Now he's not even completing his delivery and balking.

Nah he was all over the zone against springer, bo and vladdy but then settled in and completely dominated the next 3 hitters with pinpoint accuracy and velocity.

Neither Kirk or Whit could catch up to McClanahan's FB in that inning a way that Bo and Vlad could. He just blew it right by them.
