Ends with a terrible called strike a mile off the plate, fitting for this umpired game.

That game was too long and drawn out considering nothing really happened.

Would have been nice to only be 1 game back after the Rays series. Now it'll be 2 games.

Sucks we didn't get the sweep especially cause Bassitt pitched so well. But even a 100 win team loses 62 over the course of a season. Espinal has been awful tho not sure how much longer we go him over Barger. Not that it would make much difference but probs would've pinch hit KK for Espy which is hilarious that's even a thought. On the brightside we the always reliable Jose Berrios against the 13-0 Tampa Bay Rays tmr to get us back on track.

Bassitt looking like himself again (as the guy we are paying 20M a season) is more important than the outcome of this one.

I think there’s a pretty good chance we get destroyed by the Rays this weekend though. We aren’t playing great baseball overall (Chapman and Vlad have been covering up a lot) and they are on fire.

i know the Jays are trying to be more patient at the plate at times but i think they may be taking too many first pitch strikes from the obvious biased eye test from when I watch the Jays. and then sometimes they are too aggressive. and the opposing pitchers kinda know their habits.

all this from the eye test. /s

there should be no way the last two games that the Jays should be scoring 1 run through 8 eight innings against this Detroit team. I know its early in the season but the team should be "too good" for these results.
