Bichette's 122 wRC+ is a career high, tied with last year's mark, right now.

Vlad also hit 3 balls over 95 MPH (including 2 over 106) that all were outs yesterday. He was just unlucky.

Vlad has lost 170 points of OPS year over year.

Entering September, Bichette had put up an OPS of .750 or below in 4 of 5 months. An outstanding start to September doesn't erase the long stretches of the year where he's been a black hole. Let's not forget, he was passed over for the all-star game by Santiago Espinal of all people.

We need more from our franchise cornerstones. The pitching has been rough to be sure, but we wouldn't be in so tough for a playoff spot if these guys had met expectations.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I know Gurriel hasn't been hitting that well recently, but he should still be 5 or 6 at worst. Tapia can't be hitting over him.

Dude, baseball is a long season. Literally every player has ups and downs to some degree. I’d rather Bo hot in September than May, tho.

And Vladdy literally has 12 more hard hit balls than anyone in baseball. Bo is 5th on that list.

They're completely fine (other than Bichette's shortstop defense). There's literally no basis to be critical of Bichette's offensive season at all at this point.

As far as Vlad, he's gone through stretches where he's hit the ball on the ground too much but he's having a good year on the whole and there's no reason to be down on him either.

Guessing they wanted to separate the LHBs so the Orioles can't easily bring a LHP in late in the game against them without thinking about facing Lourdes and Espinal.

Teoscar's fatherhood now coming at an especially bad time with this Lourdes injury. Hope he can come back this year because that didn't look good.

Why did we have a doubleheader Monday if both teams have tomorrow off?

Jesus Bradley what was that? He was obviously gonna throw a fastball to get over. Then he gets wrecked on the next 2 pitches. He's only good at hitting fastballs so he should've been swinging there.

Lourdes' sacrifice goes for nothing as JBJ and Springer fail.

Best of those kind of plays I've ever seen.
