First give away game of the year 0-11 RISP and amateurish error that cost them 3 Unearned runs.

Not really sure what Vlad was looking there had 2 fastballs down the middle and didn't even swing.

Guess he was looking for a meatball slider and he didn't get it.

Tough day offensively after the 19 hits but man you'll win more games than not if you're taking 10 walks I'll say that. I'm less than worried Gausman looked great.

I know the games have been much quicker, but I can't say it feels like it.

Right now, our biggest offensive issue is that we aren't hitting the ball hard in the air. Given our players, I'm pretty confident that will sort itself out.

Kirk also needs to be hitting at some point in a loss in a game he isn't starting. There's little point in having this depth on the bench if our manager isn't going to use it.

2 outs 8th inning, even if they IBB Kirk, kiermaier can hit equal or better than biggio. Espinal ready to play 2B.

Biggio's the better hitter between he and Kiermaier.

MLB Gameday really sucks now. Can we go back to the way it was even 20 years ago? That would be an improvement.

Didn't like the Belt signing at the time, and the early returns are bad. Still very early, obviously, but why sign a vet that may have little left to displace one of your better hitters in Kirk?

I'm also not a big fan of Varsho protecting Vlad in the 4-hole, but hopefully he starts mashing and can jack 30+ this season.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Which isn't saying much. If not for his positional diversity, Biggio wouldn't have lasted on a mlb roster with his lack of hitting ability.

Alright it's game time. This feels like a game 7. Lots of pressure to perform and provide insight during the game in this thread for boogie.
