We're selling low on Vlad in this scenario so some other team/hitting coach can fix him and make him a superstar? I don't like that plan.

He'll be out of the league in 3 years tops.. below average first baseman, with the topspin BAIBP curse... great quadruple A player though.. big washout.

Where has Clement been all season?

Schneider, Horwitz, and Clement all had quietly very good seasons in Buffalo. They've all earned serious looks in the spring.

Schneider is a near lock to take Kiermaier's OF spot next year (with Varsho moving to CF full time). I don't see a spot for Horwitz, aside from Belt's job as platoon DH. I don't know if Clement can play a passable 2B or 3B, but he may take Espinal's job next season.

I rather have Schneider as Regular Second Baseman. Want both Biggio and Espinal off the team with their Arbitration Declined, and use that 5 million elsewhere. Clement should definitely take one of those spots. Let Barger and Martinez fight for the other one.

I would doubt it. He's been hitting rockets for most of the season, just on the ground. You get some team who gets him pulling the ball in the air even a bit and he's putting up all-star seasons until he's 30.

Frustrating play but a 4-2 week, and we moved from 3.5 from the WC (against 3 teams) down to 1.5, 2, 2.5

Need another 4-2 week at minimum but that puts pressure in tough games after that. 5-1 is probably necessary.

Then we need to wake up against real teams.

Thankfully Schneider, Horwitz and Clement have come to play, unlike some of our vets.

Jays still have a legit chance, of course it'll depend on how well they play against the Rays and Yankees.. like always.

I believe he can be. An off-season and spring training preparing to play Second Base will also help him, instead of him being moved around in the infield and LF all year.

They played terrible baseball the entire series, are missing 4 regulars, and had no business losing the game yesterday, so I would doubt it.

The 4 game Rangers series is probably the most crucial one. If we can somehow take 3 of 4 in that one it would be huge - of course we are equally capable of taking 1 out of 4 which would be devestating.

They played terrible baseball the entire series, are missing 4 regulars, and had no business losing the game yesterday, so I would doubt it.

The Jays are playing a team next that is tied for the least amount of wins in MLB. They will get 2 of their Regulars back after that in their home stand. Houston and Texas are playing each other in the next series. So, the Jays, regardless of missing 4 Regulars need to take care of a garbage Oakland team. I still have my doubts about a decent win streak, but we will see.
