Oh wow

I can only presume Schneider wanted our worst hitting RHB against a guy who destroys RHBs because he specifically set that matchup up (or he's so stupid that he couldn't look out into their bullpen and anticipate what the Rangers would do a minute later).

Lmao. So predictable. Vlad's is not even looking at those pitches. Compare his swings to Cory Seager's, hes all over the place. Seager is like a robot, his head and eyes dont move the entire time, thats how hes able to see the ball so well and adjust his swing as the ball travels to him. Vlad just swinging out of his shoes with his head flailing. He got lucky on one of those wild blind swings in the first inning. Thats about it.

This is the way the world ends, this is the way of the world ends, this is the way the world ends. Not with a bang, but a whimper.

Richards has allowed runs in 5 straight appearances now. No clue why he came into this game.

Varsho came into the game for defense btw, which means Schneider willingly chose Espinal to face the RHB killer with massive splits over him. Obviously Horwitz would have been the better choice to hit, but Varsho would have been far better than Espinal against Leclerc too.
