101 MPH off the bat to end it. Fitting.

That's his standard plate approach.

I don't see the Yankees getting too hot again, but whether they do or don't, I don't think it was ever a realistic goal to try and catch them. It's not like we're a team that can stay hot. We've struggled to be consistent all season.

We're not a particularly good team, but I do think it gets pretty realistic down 6 games with 40 to go with the way the Yankees are playing at the moment. They'd still obviously be massively favoured to get it done but it becomes close to a 1/5 or 1/6 chance for us then as opposed to something more like 1/10 after today.

Scherzer then deGrom with German and Montas is a pretty bleak outlook though

That's only two games, but hey just beat Manoah (well less Manoah than Lourdes, Bichette, and Cimber) after losing a game to Mitch White with Gerrit Cole on the mound. Baseball be crazy.

I remember being torched a couple years back suggesting Bo Bichette was not a shortstop.

Bo should not try to throw while running anymore.Field the ball, set, then throw. He is better at 2nd.

He’s been a good SS this season.

He’s had a whole bunch of suspect throws this season. His little side arm flick has been a problem.

Not really.

-7 DRS
-7.6 UZR
-27.4 UZR/150

The only defensive metric that paints him in a positive light is OAA (+4).

I would be so much happier seeing Espi and Bo switch sides of the base.

Manoah is such a badass... and I'm so glad he's on our team! :D

We all know that was intentional.

He's getting the reputation of hitting batters now. How many is that now? It's only a matter of time until we see a bench clearing brawl with punches. Can't wait!

There are metrics that say otherwise. That’s the thing about advanced stats they can support any argument

Which ones? Have you thought about using some of them to support your argument? I would absolutely love to believe he is good defensively and I just irrationally hate the way he throws.
