Kikuchi with a 0.00 ERA in spring training! Who would of thought of that?

The 3 BB he gave up in 3 innings is a concern however.

Bichette with a monster spring season so far! Poised to lead the Jays in hits again this season. It's going to take a lot of coin to sign him, when his time is up.

Zulueta looks like a more dominant bullpen arm than half the guys expected to make camp.

Barger is going to make the lineup to start the season. Right?

What a beat down that was today. Makes it even better when it's against a divisional rival.

I feel like Otto Mann has the last bench spout on lock.
They want Barger at 3B, no? I think they will let him continue to marinate a bit so he can be brought up at 3rd if/when we move on from Chappy. Or if the org decides not to pay Bo then maybe Barger can take over at ss.

Agree- Lopez will get the spot. Barger will be the first injury replacement. Feeling pretty good about the post Chapman years though

They probably want to keep his service-time from starting as long as possible as well, yeah? I mean, assuming that he's not going to be playing every day due to injury or such.

Why do we have Drew Chuckison? To eat up spring training innings I suppose?

Basically, yeah. He's a non-roster free agent. Every team has roughly 15 of them in camp, and generally none of them actually make the team.

Gausman on point

Hatch, Thornton, and Hutchison, and Thompson are not AL East calibre depth starters. I think we need another arm, or have to hope a guy like Pearson or Tiedemann can be ready if/when injuries occur.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I could see us also using some combination of Zulueta, Pearson and White in multi-inning tandem roles to cover the spot if needed. Our bullpen is quite deep (at least until arms fall off), so we're probably better off trying to get IPs two or three at a time rather than find a 6th starter type to give us 100 pitches a night.
