Meh. Kikuchi is warm and firing just as hard as Nate. Only fastballs!

Problem is he has no clue where the FB is going on the best of days.

8K/1BB today

Plus, even if I accept what you say, then neither does Alonso! Lol

And Alonso ended up crushing a hanging slider out of the park anyway lol

Orange line is a home run?

This reminds me of that Sunday Seattle loss from a month or so ago when they were going for the sweep. Huge blown lead there too.

9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Did we pull the starter too soon as well?

Managers: Look at me I’m managing!

89 but Kikuchi looked bad for the last few innings of that one. Two HRs and several other near misses. Left the slider over the middle of the plate repeatedly.

Don't blame Schneider at all for pulling him for a guy who's been great for weeks now. Pearson just didn't get the job done this time.

No, that one had to do with using a struggling Anthony Bass in high leverage.

Well, we don’t have a stable of Hall of Fame bullpen options at our disposal. Sometimes you run with the girl that brung you.

So it’s different. Not reminiscent.

I'd still take the pen over the Kikuchi that pitched the last 3 innings of that game today.

It's definitely different now after Belt hit a HR.

I’ll leave it at this. Kikuchi has become a very integral contributor on our pitching staff. We should start to trust him more.
