Worst loss of the year easily, aided a ton by the umpire.

Umpiring was terrible, but the Jays only had two hits for the last 6 innings. Making the A's Pitchers look like they are World Beaters. Especially Varsho, who when it seems like he is coming around, has a second consecutive hitless game, as his batting average is back being stuck in the .220 range. A pathetic loss to start this home stand. This team's pitchers have no margin for error due to this atrocious offense.

He should see Aaron judges hitting coach.

Mostly a joke… All credit to him for his first home run ever at Rogers center. But he was benefitted from swinging at a ball/high out of the zone.

Not totally the worst, since this team is still a half a game out of the final WC. The worst season from my perspective had to be the 2013 Jays, which finished Dead Last in the division, after the off-season where they acquired CY Young Knuckleballer R.A. Dickey from the Mets, and made a huge blockbuster trade from the Marlins that was going to propel this team into a contender. This organization had post-season aspirations, but imploded out of the gate, and ended the year with a record of 74-88. People also forget the atrocious 2019 Blue Jays season under Shatkins, which had a record of 67-95. That team had scrubs pitching and playing the field. Shapiro envisioned the team being .500 in a retooling year, but that was from the case.

I honestly had no expectations for that 2013 team it felt so hyped but I thought it'd be an average team at best

The nerds are killing us.Imagine playing with the starting rotation the same way they have played all season long with the batters lineups. Our starters have done a pretty good job with not much consistent hitting. No batter has a chance to get comfortable in his spot.We are the only team to ever use the same batting lineup for 2 consecutive days;one time.Is Schneider himself too clueless to set the lineups, and keep using a good one,or does he just give it up to the nerds.I would love to hear"From now on Schneider will be making the lineups" The way it has been done is "If you are hot,you get to move up",so by that same token a productive scoring lineup that was hot should be continually used.Feels like we are being run by clueless nerds, who know nothing about baseball.

Relax fellas, remember when the Tulo/Price trades happened we were around 0.500.

This is 2015 redux! Believe in yourselves, believe in the city!

My daughter’s nursing graduation was running late, so I gave away my tix to last nights game. Not sorry I did.

Worst team in the majors in the midst of an 8 game losing streak. What do you do? Fly up to Toronto and beat the sad sack Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. LOL.

The strike zone was terrible, but the Jays bats went ice cold against a group of mediocre A’s pitchers. Vladdy on second with no one out and he doesn’t score.

I’m going to the SF Giants game on Wednesday instead. Not expecting a different outcome.

If you only looked at the record it's OK, but those who try to watch every game have been treated to some of the ugliest looking baseball ever seen in Jays history. Even when they win you still feel like you need to take a shower

Yeah, this is actually pretty par for the course in terms of post-93 jays history. Puddling around in various states of 3rd-5th divisional finishes in this torrent of unholy mediocrity. Bouncing between bouts of good hitting, bad pitching or vice-versa.

The AA years were the outliers.

When Alex brought that jolt of talent at the deadline, it was made possible because there was depth in the farm.

Atkins does have a whole lot of good trade chips to entice other GMs to give the Jays some proven talent this July.

Berrios is getting lit up by one of the worst offenses in the league now. We may actually lose this series.
