If they "kept their eyes on the ball" all season while running, there would not be so many blunders on the bases this season lol.

Jay Jackson has earned a spot over a lot of the various scrubs we've had in the pen this year, i.e. Hatch

It's almost like a manager that holds players accountable, and know how to manage lineups and the bullpen would be what is really needed...

Bring back Gibby! It's just so obvious, and I'd get the pleasure of watching his post game interviews leaning back in his desk chair.

Do other managers actually bench their players for mental mistakes? I don't feel like this is a thing anymore.

Look up Javier Baez getting benched against the Jays earlier this year.

Pearson has a habit of leaving his slider in really bad places.

If it's possible to sweep another team playing bad baseball, the Jays just did that.

As long as Pearson is not pitching back to back days, he has been very good this season. 5 straight solid appearances after he was roughed up over two weeks ago pitching back to back by Texas and Miami. Hope he can keep it up the rest of the way, to alleviate the pressure off a guy like Swanson. Glad to sweep the double header, even a terrible team like Chicago.

It helps that the other team is terrible.

Now if we could just stop getting swept by every single AL East opponent, we might be able to hold onto it.

It's truly annoying that the AL East team that we've done the best against is Tampa Bay, and the worst against is Boston.
