Why have Davis Schneider hitting third, when he was fine hitting where he was the first two games? I know Vlad is struggling, but Cavan Biggio has no business starting today with his atrocious hitting numbers against lefties. Guaranteed out in the lineup. This manager's love affair with a scrub like Biggio is something to behold. I guess winning 2 out of 3 in Boston was good enough for him.

They must expect Bassitt will pitch a no-hitter.

Want to walk that one back?

Walk back what? Have you looked at his numbers? Good for Biggio to get his first extra-base hit and RBI against a Lefty in the month of August. He is still one of the worst players in MLB this year. Every Blind Squirrel can find a Nut once a while. Just like how I remember Bradley Zimmer getting a key hit last year. Does not mean a thing. Still prefer Biggio gets sent down when Bichette is healthy again.

Does Schneider remind anyone else of Aaron Hill?

If I were to pick a pitcher to pitch a no-hitter for us,it would be Gausman first.Kickuchi, and Berrios could as well as Bassitt.

Need to get this Red Sox pitcher off the mound. Has hit Kirk and Schneider in the wrist/hand already this inning.

Keep him at the 3 spot he likes it there. Should've called him up for the Orioles series.

He,ll probably be moved in favor of Vlad. It,ll probably be Whitt,Belt ,Vlad.Schneider looks like he can bat in any spot because he has good self awareness, and discipline like Bo.I hope he stays at 3 as well, but I aint counting on it.

At least bat him above Matt Chapman. Need someone who can hit with RISP.

Beyond the all-conquering behemoth that is Davis Schneider, the other good news is that Kirk is locked in: over his past 51 PAs, he has an OBP north of .500 and 5 XBHs. Really helps to have his bat back.
