Well Romano has looked really, really bad in these two outings in this series. That doesn't bode well at all these next few weeks.

I'm telling you I don't care what the numbers say, Romano is so shaky.

Romano looks washed. I cant remember the last time he had a dominant 3 up 3 down inning.

I'm just telling you what I know about romano. Didn't start calling him blowmano for nothing.

problematic when you don't get someone loose until he loads the bases and puts the tying run on. otherwise, not sure I'd leave romano in here.

Cant tell if Romano is just declining from being overworked all season long or if hes still nursing an injury. Either that or he just has the yips.

Terrible pitch there from Romano at the end too...

Got the win, but those two outings were not inspiring. He's been largely great all year too, but he may be tiring?

I know it was a save situation, but with a 3 run lead and the other alternative was Bowden Francis, I would have just went with Francis since he has a large enough sample size with 17 games and 1.69 ERA vs a crappy Royals team. Now you have a game tomorrow and probably cant use Romano for another 2 days because he threw 27 pitches today and 29 pitches on Friday.

They didn't make it look easy but winning 8/10 going into this last stretch. Texas series gonna be huge minimum need a split.

I've watched him all year. The last two outings were incredibly unusual for him.

Might be better to not have to use him against Texas snd their elite hitters.
