Shades of "we want flordia!" all over again. Leafs should have WANTED Boston last year, and the Jays should have WANTED the Rays this year. How anyone in that Front Office could look at the rays miserable last few weeks of the season with the injuries, the godawful fielding and inconsistent overall play, and say to themselves, NAH WE DONT WANT TO FACE THAT, is beyond me. I dont care that the orioles are after them. Id rather take a trip to the ALDS anyday of the week than be swept in the wildcard series for the 3rd year in a row.

Lol there's no karma or anything the Bruins were stacked too and they would've been the road team. They ran into a generational goaltending performance by Bobrovsky. And this Jays team could easily have lost to the Rays considering their lineup of Randy, Yancy, and Paardes.
