Does no one in the front office question why so many of our guys constantly underperform offensively? Seriously, what does Guillermo have on Shatkins?

I don't think it's Guillermo. He has been the hitting coach since 2019, and the offense was actually good up until 2023. Someone came into the organization prior to the 2023 season and was given way too much autonomy with the offensive side of things.

“Damage is kind of a scary word”… he wants good swings in good pitches, not just chasing power.

“I don’t really see us as a huge power club. But we do have a chance for, I think, four or five guys hitting 20 or above. That would be good for us.”

The guy who made that quote came into the organization in 2023, and got promoted in 2024. He also needs to get rid of those sideburns.

Just say his name already. Who?

Davis will be back on the bench tomorrow

Offense has been so much better at home so far this year than last season

Why are we pulling Yariel after a strikeout mid-inning for Bowden Francis

New seats are causing issues for the defence.

Schneider had to slow down sooner to not get wiped out by the wall.

Guerrero looks completely deadeyed. He gives no effs about what Edwin is telling him. Pathetic mental midget. He might be done much like Manoah.

If Jays win today, they will be 6-0 when Davis Schneider starts.

Small sample size. He still hasn't proven he's better than all our non-hitters.

1 hit and 2 BB for Davis again, wouldn't want to play him every day or anything though

People give too much credence to the hitting coaches. There’s a reason star players exist tegardless of coaching. Guerrero is just ****. He’s the one up there that has to make contact with the ball and idk what happened to him. It’s like when Jose Bautista went from being a scrub to being one of the best hitters in baseball, it’s because he himself put in the work to get better. Idk what vlad has done. But mentally it looks like he’s broken because we’ve all seen that the talent is there and he was hyped as a generational hotter for a reason.

Pitch count, I assume. They probably have him on a strict limit until he builds himself up further.

Davis' on base ability is hugely underrated. He's well above average at taking walks.

I get that KK is an established vet, Springer has the big contract, and Varsho was traded for a young stud C, but at the end of the day Schneider needs to be in there full-time.

It's just crazy that this organization has already pigeon-holed a 25-year-old.
