A nice performance from Manoah today.
I guess a tease is better than outright stinking it up.

Would like to see him stay down there and perhaps get some positive consistency over multiple starts.
But the various injuries to our "long" man options, will probably lead to an early call up.

If Springer, Bo and Vladdy can't give us anything with their bats soon we are toast.

Any team run by an intelligent manager would pinch hit Jansen in this spot for Biggio.

Why didn't this clown of a manager pinch hit Jansen for Biggio??

He's going to cost us another game. FFS!

I was shocked that Jansen didn't have a bat just in case when IKF was up. Biggio was going to hit in that spot regardless of who was pitching. This management team is wild.

He's seemingly incapable of thinking 1 batter ahead at any time. He also may legitimately believe Biggio was the better option there too. Neither is good.

Jansen should have been Starting, but the manager did not want to leave the "Powerful" BAT of the Top 5 Catcher you love so much in Kirk. Hitting a stellar .197 which is definitely Top 5 I guess, with his wonderful OPS to boot.

Swanson being terrible probably isn't something we can afford this season, especially with Chad Green injured. Relief depth looks like a serious issue.
